On Monday, December 8, 2025, a ceremony was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Djibouti in Kuwait to mark the first anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries of the Republic of Djibouti and the Republic of El Salvador. The event was attended by H.E. Ambassador Issa Khaireh Robleh, and H.E. Ambassador Juan Carlos, Ambassador of the Republic of El Salvador to the State of Kuwait, along with the members of his diplomatic mission.

At the beginning of the ceremony, H.E. Ambassador Issa Khaireh Robleh delivered a welcoming speech to H.E. Ambassador Juan Carlos and the accompanying delegation, noting that the two countries share many common characteristics despite the geographical distance between them.

For his part, H.E. the Ambassador of the Republic of El Salvador expressed his gratitude for the generous hospitality and warm reception, and extended his congratulations to H.E. Ambassador Issa Khaireh Robleh on the occasion of presenting his credentials as Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to the State of Kuwait.

Both sides also exchanged views on the fraternal relations between the two countries and affirmed during the meeting the importance of enhancing and strengthening these ties in all fields for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.
